Antibiotic resistance contributes to roughly 170,000 U.S. deaths annually, and the toll grows each year.
According to a new analysis, antibiotic resistance is forecast to cause more than 39 million global deaths between 2025 and 2050. That’s more than four times the entire population of New Jersey.
