At the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, doctors supplied patients with an abundance of antibiotics to try and help patients in any way they could, while they battled the unknown threat of COVID. Now, however, this crisis has accelerated the issue of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). We can no longer ignore COVID’s interactions with AMR, a second pandemic that has been growing in the background while news of COVID skyrocketed.
